The 2015 12 Days of EdTech Cheer is just around the corner!
After several years of the same design, I have decided to do a little re-vamp on the design of the website. My hope is that it will be simpler, streamlined, and user-friendly.
I am still working on a lot of the site design and concepts, but I wanted to give you a sneak peek into what 2015 holds for you. I am excited to see what teachers and students come up with this year!
Without further ado...the 2015 12 Days of EdTech Cheer reveal!

The structure of this year will be a little different than previous years, allowing for more classroom, teacher, and student flexibility. This year, I will not be giving a specific tool/resource/strategy, but rather a theme. The interpretation of the theme is up to the teacher and students, but allows you to explore new tools, revisit previously used resources, or step out and try something new in the maker and STEAM worlds. More information about this will be coming soon!
Although the theme this year is, "Be {Godfrey-Lee} Awesome," the goal is that any district could substitute their district/school name in the title, participate in the same activities, and be just as awesome as Godfrey-Lee.

What Else is New This Year?
Goose Chase Photo Challenge
In Godfrey-Lee, there will be an opportunity to participate in a Goose Chase photo challenge. Teachers participated in one during our annual Rebel U professional development day at the beginning of the school year. Why not extend the fun and do another one?! This will include multiple missions each in which you will share your photos representing how you implemented the daily theme. This will be a building-wide challenge, so get your game faces on!

Social Media
EdTech Cheer is connected in many ways on social media. What is new this year is that EdTech Cheer is now on Facebook. Give a 'Like' and share ideas, pictures, and anything else EdTechCheer-y! You may also use the hashtag #EdTechCheer on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook to see what else others are sharing.
